Banana cake

I read about banana cake over on Sue's blog, a year without. I have been wanting to try it since and only just got round to it tonight. It was super easy to make and smells divine. I will be trying it tomorrow.

  2. I make banana and sultana muffins all the time for my boys as they are one of their favourites. I try and leave some to go a little brown to add to the sweetness.

    1. Lovely, would you mind sharing your recipe? I added a touch more sugar as the ones I used weren't very ripe but I didn't want to wait

  3. Mmmm delicious! I've got a recipe that uses 7 bananas, 4 eggs and makes 3 loaves - one for eating straight away & 2 for the freezer.

  6. I love adding something extra - sunflower seeds, coconut, cranberries (fabulous!). Not all at once. I got a huge bargain bag of yellow stickered bananas last Christmas and everyone got a banana cake with cranberries for part of their present. They went down really well.
