3 nights away

What a difference a few nights away makes. I have been to Italy for work which really isn't as glamorous as it may sound. When I came back this bounty was waiting for me. I can't believe the growth that's been put on after a few days.

  1. Are you doing square foot gardening?I can see the string markers in a photo. The rain has certainly brought about a growth spurt.

    1. No as I hadn't even heard of it haha. Those strings were guidance when planting. To be honest I stopped doing them after a couple of beds and then went by eye.

  2. Its only when you go away for a few days you see the changes on your return, seeing it every day you start to think is anything growing :-)

    1. Thank you hun. We had the broccoli tonight and it was lovely. Also purple broccoli yum. Yes the sweetcorn is the picture with my daughter in it. Not too sure how it'll do as we heard it needs to pollinate itself.

    1. Absolutely. I try to think positive about the weather. We live in England after all. It is going to be up and down! Rain is just what the plants need at the moment and the ducks will always love it!
